I would like to thank you all for taking the time to come join us for this
first ever SOC Midwest Camera Operators Workshop. I feel like we had a
fantastic turnout and that the workshop was a huge success! People came in from
Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio, Kansas City, Wisconsin and we can't forget the locals
from Chicago.
I would like to thank Bob Primes, ASC
and Larry McConkey whom I felt did an absolutely fantastic job as our
guest speakers! They really took this workshop very seriously and gave each
person who attended 110% of their time and attention. I feel we owe them a HUGE
thank-you for their efforts! They came in with no egos. They did come prepared
and full of energy and excitement. I don't know about the rest of you but when
I look into Larry and or Bob's eyes when they are talking about and describing a
shot, the level of excitement they show even after all they have accomplished is
very inspiring to me. Even though I was one of the workshop organizers for the
SOC I can honestly say that I am walking away from this event with a new level
of enthusiasm....and for those of you that know me well know that my enthusiasm
level was already pretty dang HIGH.
Thanks again and as a reminder you can see the
long THANK YOU list below of all that helped make this
happen.
